KNX Australia (KNX National Group Ltd) was formed by a group of manufacturers, system integrators, associations and training organisations to promote the KNX standard in Australia.
Governed by an elected board, KNX Australia is a collective of KNX advocates whose experience reflects home and building automation activities within Australia. This website is one of the key focuses of the organisation and its activities, outlining the basics of the KNX standard and providing visibility to its members via the members’ directory.
All members of KNX Australia have agreed to abide by a Code of Conduct and act in the best interests of promoting the KNX Standard. There are currently two levels of membership – Full Membership and Associate Membership.
In November 2017, Standards Australia adopted KNX Standard – IS0/IEC 14543-3 (Parts 1-6) as an Australian Technical Standard. This formal recognition and endorsement provides confidence to KNX Association members and the clients they serve about the automation quality KNX brings to a project.
KNX Australia is part of a network of national associations, all members of the international KNX Association headquartered in Brussels.
The KNX Association has a vast worldwide membership from major manufacturers, integrators, training schools, scientific and academic institutions, test laboratories and other interested parties. Around the world, there are over 500 KNX Manufacturer members, over 109,000 KNX Partners and 501 KNX Training Centres.
